Boundary AdjustmentsA boundary adjustment is used to create a new property line between existing parcels. No new parcel is created, but the gross acreage of two or more parcels is changed when the new property line is established.
Boundary adjustments typically are a much easier solution if you can avoid the subdivision process. We typically coordinate with your surveyor who will prepare the plat, file the necessary applications to the proper governmental entity and then represent you at the public hearings. Once the boundary adjustment is approved we will coordinate the finalization of the plat, obtain the necessary signature on the plat and record the plat in the real property records. | ||
